Enrolment & Getting Started

How do I enrol?

To apply, simply visit our website and click Apply Now. Choose your course level and submit your application.

Once your eligibility is confirmed, payment is received, and your registration is processed, you’ll get immediate access to your orientation. Your classroom access and digital workbook will then be mailed to your address.

How do I know which course is right for me?

Book a call with our Virtual English Advisor to take your LinguaSkill test, and we’ll recommend the course that best fits your goals and current English level.

The LinguaSkill Test is required for all B1 to C1 Cambridge English courses to ensure you are placed in the level that best matches your current skills.

There is no LinguaSkill Test required for the A1 and A2 Cambridge English courses.

Learning Structure & Schedule

Are the classes live or pre-recorded?

The classes are live, conducted online with certified English teachers.

How many live sessions are there each week?

There are three live sessions per week:
• Monday, Tuesday & Thursday – 9:00 am to 1:00 pm UTC+10
• Monday, Tuesday & Thursday – 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm UTC+10

What time are the classes held?

Timetable options:

How long is each session?

Each session is a 4-hour live online class led by a highly qualified English language teacher.

How many students are in each class?

Each class accommodates up to 15 students, ensuring a focused and interactive learning environment.

Is this a group class or one-on-one?

Virtual English offers group classes with a maximum of 15 students per class.

Certification & Assessment

Do I receive a certificate after completing a Virtual English course?

Yes. All students who complete a course from A1 to C1 will receive a Certificate of Completion from Virtual English. This confirms successful participation in a course aligned with the Cambridge English EMPOWER 2nd Edition curriculum.

Is this an official Cambridge English Qualification?

No. The Certificate of Completion is issued by Virtual English and is not an official Cambridge English Qualification (such as B1 Preliminary, B2 First, or C1 Advanced). To receive an official qualification, students must book and sit a separate Cambridge exam through an authorised test centre.

Does the course include the Cambridge Linguaskill Test?

Yes—for B1, B1+, B2, and C1 students. These levels include the Cambridge Linguaskill Test, an official Cambridge-certified online test. Upon completion, students receive a Cambridge English score report aligned with the CEFR (A1 to C1), which is recognised by universities and employers.

Do A1 and A2 courses include the Linguaskill Test?

No. A1 and A2 students do not take the Linguaskill Test. However, they still receive a Virtual English Certificate of Completion confirming their progress and achievement.

Can I prepare for the Cambridge Linguaskill test?

Yes, we offer new Cambridge preparation materials and targeted courses to improve your English and succeed in the Linguaskill exam.

Is this course preparing me for an official Cambridge exam, like the A2 Key?

Yes, the courses are designed to prepare students for official Cambridge certifications, including the Linguaskill test.
